They all lined up at the starting line, “on your marks, set….” The gun went off and the 100m race was on the way.

The reigning Olympic 100m champion, competing with her dyed green braided hair replete with a garland of yellow flowers, was pushed hard by the European champion, Dafne Schippers, who finished strongly to record a Dutch national record time of 10.81.
“I get tired of 10.7s, honestly,” Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce said. “Hopefully, my next race, I’ll get it together.”
It was her interview that got us when she was asked by a reporter about her race and the first thing that came out of her mouth was, “I just want to give thanks to my Lord and Saviour Jesus, and to my wonderful husband Jason”. She was also concerned that her coach was going to get her for celebrating before reaching the finish line.
No one can do it alone, we need the help of persons around us and by her recognition it is clear why she is loved beyond measure.

Compliments are one of the most extraordinary components of social life. If given right they create so much positive energy that they make things happen almost as if by magic. They ease the atmosphere around two people and kindly dispose people to each other. Of course, there is a way to give them. And, just as important, a way to receive them. And everyone needs to know how to do both, that is what Fraser-Pryce represents.
